Matt Comer
Matt Comer, 26, is a communications professional, civic and community journalist and progressive, LGBT activist. Hailing from Winston-Salem, N.C., Matt currently lives and works in Charlotte, N.C., where he works as editor of QNotes, the Charlotte-based LGBT newspaper of North Carolina. Matt recently returned to school at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he is continuing his studies in American history and politics.
Matt attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2004 through 2007. He has been active in LGBT advocacy work since high school.
Matt started this blog first in July 2005 on Blogger and then later moved to a local paid hosting service (TechTriad). In January 2007, the entire site moved to its current home, InterstateQ.com.
