According to an article posted by 365gay.com News on Wednesday evening, the Judiciary Committee of the United States Senate is expected to begin work on the Federal Marriage Amendment Thursday. The committee work on the amendment will open up the road to having a Senate vote on the amendment in June, as Majority Leader, Senator Bill Frist (R-Tenn) had promised to right-wing groups in the beginning of the year.
I’ll be keeping watch on the progress of the amendment. Knowing me and my geeky nature, I’ll probably watch the Senate on C-SPAN when it comes to the floor, lol.
